I’ve been teaching for a long time and let me tell you, shiny ball syndrome is a real thing in the fitness world.

The latest gadget, the newest exciting trend, and yes even the latest research paper can make us wonder which direction to take our practice.

When I get overwhelmed, I go back to the tried and true basics that drew me to Pilates in the first place.

The breath. The feeling of connection. The simple movements that always make me feel lighter, taller, calmer, and more in control every time I walk away from my mat.

I’m so excited to share my favorite simple and effective moves with you this month. We will build a solid movement foundation to return to whenever things get a little…not simple. 😉
